the tranny on my 1994 gmc jimmy is blown i have another exact tranny just a 2wd with the driveshaft...it will bolt right up but will the tranny crossmember bolt up and is there any mods i will have to do

 

if this is anything like the swap i just did, i used a 2wd astro 700r4 and dropped it into an 88s-10 4X4. i unbolted the tailshaft housing from the 2wd tranny, disassembled both tranny's and used the output shaft from the 4X4 trans, reinstalled it in the (former) 2wd tranny. that way your transfer case adapter and tranfer case will bolt back on. there is a difference between 2wd and 4x4 trans output shafts.
