327 s10
Hey guys,so I've decided to build a v8 s10, something I've been wanting to do since I was 16. I just have some questions about the motor.
it's a 1965 327 sbc out of an impala. I have the block, pistons, and crank. Staying stock bore size for now, what sort of intake/ carb setup would you recommend? Truck will be street/ strip
and I can't decide between a th350 or a 400 for the trans.

The 327 cubic inch GM engine is a great small block motor, and most of them will blow a 350/5.7 liter motor away, that's how good they are. Back when high-compression motors ruled the roads, only a big-block motor was more powerful. Even the 400 cubic inch GM small block is inferior to the 327 high-compression, closed-chambered head motors for speed and high-performance racing.
