Default 4.3 oil pan gasket

Hello fellow chevy enthumaniacs! I have a question about a leaky oil pan gasket. I recently repaired my daughters 1998 blazer with the infamous 4.3 vortec motor "w" vin code. I replaced the crank and bearings due to a spun rod journal and I replaced the rear main and front main seals since I had the motor out as well as the oil pan gasket. Upon installation and subsequent driving it developed an oil leak from the front of the oil pan. All the torque specs and sequence was followed when I installed the oil pan so I am at a loss. It is a nice feltpro aftermarket neoprene blue seal. After about 2 years it blew a head gasket and cracked a head I decided to pull the motor again to address the oil pan leak. Gasket looks like it did when I installed it. I bought a new gasket so do I seal the **** out of it with rtv or install dry and seal the front and rear main seal joints like before. I have never had this problem with a rubber type seal before. Thoughts.
