what'd ya find out about the timing?..not even a backfire is what's jumping out @ me..even out of time, it should cough or do something w/reliable starting fluid..my 2000 4.3 was doing what u described w/the 1/3 pedal stuff, yet would start up every time, and had fuel pressure...turned out to be a failing fuel pump..not familiar w/a '94 4.3 engine, but i cant even SEE the spider injectors w/o removing the intake manifold on my engine, but I saw gas whenever I disconn'd the fuel line @ the throttle body........problem for me was i'd have gas and pressure, but it wouldnt maintain the needed pressure once goin' down the road...but, to me, u not even gettin a cough points to fire, not fuel..keep us posted
