Can a bad o2 sensor make my 96 blazer not start

It should atleast start and run poorly. If the wires on the 02 sensor are bare and shorted out, it will blow a fuse and that may keep it from running.

About 1 month ago i drove it and the next day went out and it wouldNt start ive changed the timing chain and gears thinking thats what it was im out of Ideas please help ive got spark and fuel

Have you checked your TPS?

Have you made sure that you get the proper amount of fuel pressure? And that your spark plugs and wires are good?

If so I would test your alternator, starter and battery
