97 s10 zr2 4.3 fuel pressure loss
well,im still getn nowhere.pulled all plugs and getting bright spark,plugs are wet from gas,this is the second set of plugs its gased up so its not a fuel starvation problem,or a spark problem.the timing is dead nuts #1 tdc on compression stroke,with the rotor sitn on the #6 stamp on distributer,crank timing marks dead on(both marks),and even pulled crank sensor and pickup tooth was right there where it should be.checked compression and they all 160-165.
seems to me like its a security lockout or something telling it not to run.i pulled the dash and the security light bulb spot didnt have a bulb in it,looked like it never has had one in it.the only other thing i saw in there was a small red light coming out of dash by light switch,folowed the wires back to a black box and a baterry.the 2 wires to bulb were cut.anyone figure this mess out before,??
