i put a new fuel pump in a week ago the truck ran fine till it died all of a sudden. i can't hear the fuel pump whine, the indicator that tells what gear your in stopped working and the gas gauge says empty now. everything was working fine till it died. i dumped a little gas down the tbi and she didn't fire either. it would be really hard to believe that this brand new fuel pump went! any suggestions would be GREATLY apprecieated

 

did you happen to change the fuel pump/gauge wire harness when you changed pump? also, might check the pump relay, fuse.

 

Maybe a faulty Ignition switch? also check all your normal fuses, I think #9(20amp)controls the pump circuit.
