Default ABS light on a 95 chevy blazer 4x4

hi guys ! i am new here ! i have a 95 chevy blazer 4x4 4.3 engine and the ABS light stays on while i am driving ! it don,t seem to effect the braking any but the light annoys me ! i was told by the garage that it could be a wire broke on one of the wheel sensors or one of the plug-ins is corroded ! what,s your thought on that ? also another question if you don,t mind ! once in a great while the servive engine light will come on so i had it checked and the garage said there were no history in the computer but a vacuum hose can cause it to trigger if it,s leaking vacuum ! what,s your thought on that ? thanks guys for your time !

well first off they are prolly right could be a wire broke or just a bad abs sensor. it wont change your breaking just the abs feature of your brakes.. I have never heard of a check engine light coming on and not throwing a code. are you sure the codes didnt get cleared by someone disconnecting the battery or it dying ??

You need to have the ABS code retrieved to start looking for problem. Without a code anyone is just guessing. Do you feel lucky?

A basic OBDII code reader will only read PCM codes. With a full scanner codes can be retrieved from The Air Bag, ABS, BCM, Transfer case, Transmission, IP cluster etc... Full data can be seen from the also
