Default AC wont get COLD

I have a 96 Blazer and Im experiencing the AC just blowing slightly cool air but no cold air. Ive checked the freon levels and temps are reading good. This check was done with an dealership style AC machine.

Im thinking since its a 96 and even if the compressor is working maybe it needs to be replace.

I guess my question is does the compressor make the temp COLD? I want my joint cold like a new car right now im cool like fan in the shade...can anyone help me thanks in advance for your knowledge and suggestions.

If the compressor was worn out, your pressures would suffer as well as the temperature.
Could you measure the temp at the vent on MAX A/C, Thermostat all the way to blue, and fan on 1? My guess is that its not going into recirc, meaning that you are getting outside air.

Try to pinch the heater hoses closed. If the temperature gets much colder you most likely have a air mix door problem or a heater control valve problem ( if it has one)

Is this major or minor fix?

If the pressures are correct you do not need to replace your compressor. Chances are you are a little low on R134.
