RE: Baffled need help with a 94 vortex s-10 blazer
May not be the answer, but I had a somewhat similar issue, with my 94 S10 pickup 4x4. turned out to be the batery ground to the Chasis (or oil pan/engine block) I have 100,000+ miles and it was so gunked up had a poor ground that sometimes everything shutoff, including engine while driving. cleaned the ground point and no issues (first suspect was static on the radio even when it was running)
so, a) do you still have electrical power when it dies?
if that answer is yes, then just a guess maybe some sort of fuel , or sparc issue perhaps?
sorry if not much help
