Blazer Blend door
My 99 Blazer heater has been on full all winter, ok it kept me nice and warm during the cold weather, but now its turning warmer it's too hot inside. I have found a replacement blend actuator, when I try it in the vehicle but not fitted when the ignition is turned on the spindle travels to one stop then back to the other. If I adjust the heating controls from hot to cold and back there is no movement. Is this right?

Sorted
Think I have sorted this, found on the internet that if you check the actuator without it fitted it will turn both ways but stop on the mechanicle stops on the unit. These stops take it outside the control of the computer. When it is fitted into the HVAC unit the blend door travel stops it first. Just got to see if I can fit it in such a confined space, don't really want to have the dash taken out again.
