Had to clean out converters on my 99 4.3l.Now when I drive out for a while & stop,the check engine light comes on.
If it's checked while engine is hot the front 02 sensor light comes on.If it's checked later the egr code comes up too.
A friend has had to clean his converters also,but his check engine light does not come on.
Why do you think mine comes on & his doesn't.
It just gets on my nerves that I have to clear codes all the time.
