Hey guys im new on here. Just trying to get the hang of it.

So i am working on my buddies s10 2.2l. I verified that his head gasket was blown, so i pulled the head off sent it to the head shop got all checked out and decked. Found 3&4 cylinder exhaust valves were bent. Replaced those. Installed the head and subassemblies. Filled with fluid and went to go start it. The truck just cranks but doesnt start. I checked spark. Good. Check injector operation. They work. Havent checked compression yet doing that tonight.
Anyone have any ideas on what i should check next like maybe a cam or crank sensor? Im not really familiar with chevy so this is new for me.
