Default climate control problem

I am getting this hissing sound from the climate control switch. I have it apart right now and the hissing sound is definatly coming from the switch. Can I grease this switch up or do something to fix this?

Year model would be extremely helpful. Anyway, you might be able to quieten the coils on the switch with some vaseline, but if not, you are looking at replacing the switch.

yeah sorry, It's a 2003 GMC Sonoma ZR2. I greased up the connections a bit but it didn't seem to do much. There is a little rubber flange sorta thing, does that need grease? I did notice a lot of oily residue in the area that the climate control cluster is located. let me know what you think.

Are we talking about one of the switches on the dash? Or the valve switch on the refrigerant line?Anyway, if its the switches on the dash, you will need the switch cluster. Its likely got something burned up in the switch contact.
