Default Clutch DIY

Okay, I am usually working on Volkswagen's and my brother wanted to know if I'd like to replace his clutch on a late 97 S-10 pickup. I've never done a clutch job and I'm hoping someone has a good DIY, or can generally tell me what to expect, amount of time expected to complete for a first-timer.

Thanks!

Take it to a pro or leave it alone. Tranny fixes are not something I would suggest. For the clutch, just grab an already put together clutch and install it

Yah it's better to take it to the mechanic. I have a friend who is the mechanic of his own car. He's the one fixing those simple fixings on his VW Bus part. But when it comes to more complicated ones, he still seeks the help of a mechanic. It's not wise to compromise the health of the more complicated parts of your vehicle.
