Default Coolant Leak

Hi, new to the forum. I just purchased a 2003 S10 with just under 70K miles. LS trim with V-6 and auto transmission. After driving and parking, I noticed a coolant leak which appears to be coming from back of engine. What could it be? Thanks!

Since I am not familiar with the 4.3L V-6, I wasn't sure if it has freeze plugs or not. Any other possibilities?

Could be leaking from one of the transmission cooler lines. Is it coolant or water, it could be from the A/C. Is your coolant level going down? It could also appear to be from the rear but running down the engine block to make it look like it is from the rear.

Definitely coolant. Yes the coolant level was down. Just hoping it's an easy fix!

Clean the bottom of the engine and surrounding area. Start it and let it get hot, then watch to see if you can find where the leak is.

Just an update. Took the truck to my mechanic and am told the leak is from the intake manifold. Said they found a "glob of sealant" where the leak was so appears the previous owner knew about it but didn't bother to disclose it. Big bucks to repair (6 hours labor) but got to do it since I need the truck back soon and it's above my skill level. Bummer!
