I am trying to locate my EGR valve on my 02' blazer. I have read that not all 2002 4.3l have EGR valves is this true??? I am not sure if this is it or not(its where it should be, but doesnt look like the other pics i have seen) any help would be awesome thanks

 

What you are showing in the picture is the location of the thermostat for the cooling system. the EGR Value is located on the passenger side of the engine. There is a single black hose that connects to the Air intake assembley, on the driver side, you will see it easly as it is one the top most hoses. I also has a 90 degree bend in it. now just follow that house to the EGR Valve. This is a toolless repair.
