Ok, so I have a 00 s10 with the 2.2 vin 5, manual trans. The motor is shot and we are in a tight spot. We have the option for a motor and tranny that is in great condition from a friend but it is out of a 94 s10. We are trying to figure out if this would be possible (on our budget). I have done engine swaps but it has been on older vehicles where computers were not a problem. Any input and advice would be greatly appriciated.
