Hi everyone. I am a new member to this forum.
I recently picked up a super nice S 10 Blazer. I love the thing but.....I cannot get it to quit pumping heat through the vents. It is something goofy with the heat selector that I don't know how to deal with.
The truck has all new a/c assembly on it right from G.M. but it has not been charged yet and the previous owner also mentioned there is one wire to connect after the oil has been added to the pump and the system charged.
If anyone has both the knowledge and the patience to help me get this resolved I would be grateful.
I don't care about the a/c not blowing cold for now but I sure do not want that heat on.
The truck is a new build so most everything is new but I don't know where to begin on this one.

have you checked the control cable for the heat to see if it is hooked up on the other end?
