Firewall Question, and dash question
Hi there, this is my first post on this forum. My question is, that I have a 1995 s10 blazer, I was wondering where existing wire ran through my firewall? I want to power a car amp, the wire has to run from the bettery to the back.
My second question was, how to remove the dash so that I may install a converter to my factory radio?
Help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

If you pull the carpet back where carpet and dash meet in the passenger side footspace, you may find a grommet that can be pulled out, cut, and altered to accept another wire through. I'm not 100% sure its there on the 95, but it is on the 98-05s.
I can't give a solid answer on how to remove the dash on a 95. I have never worked on any 97 or older
.
I'm gonna say there will be 4- 7mm or possibly 1/4" hex screws on the knee panel under the steering wheel. you should be able to drop that panel far enough without undoing the park brake cable to expose two more screws of the same size holding the upper dash bezel on. Those 2 and the one above the gauges on the outside of the bezel will release the upper bezel. There will be 4 screws at each corner of the radio behind the bezel.
Again, everything I just said is based on what is in the 98-05 models.
