Default Front end shaking in the steering wheel when I apply my brakes.

I have a 2007 chevy malibu LTZ hatchback. THis car is a great vehicle. I believe I am the 2nd owner and I have had the vehicle for a year. The front steering wheel started shaking about a month ago whenever I would apply my brakes. The vehicle had new rotors and brakes put on it when I purchased the vehicle. I did not think it was the brakes however I had the brakes replaced this past weekend because the pads were wearing unevenly. It took away 50% of the shaking. Was wondering if it could be my tires? Not really sure and I rotate them every other oil change.

In my opinion it doesn't sound like tires, If the shaking only occurs when you are trying to stop. If it was a bad tire you would hear a constant noise I would think.

Sounds like it could be a warped rotor. Could have gotten hot if your brake pads were wearing uneven.
