The fuel pump for the model of my car only comes as a whole unit. You can't get separate parts anymore.

Okay I got my fuel pump replaced and fixed and I did it myself. I have a 2001 Blazer 4.3 Vortec. I took off the cover for the gas tank, dropped the tank, took off the the 3 gas lines on the old fuel pump, took off the 2 hoses that you pour gas in to the tank, and unhooked the power and ground wires. *It's common for fuel pumps to go bad on GM and it's also common that the ground wire will short out so make sure you check that too.* I replaced the old fuel pump with the new on and put it all back together and I'm able to roll around again. Hope this helps someone.
