Default HELP 95 Blazer wont start

We purchased a used 95 Blazer. Drove it off and on for about 2 weeks then one day it just wouldnt start.

We replaced the starter but when we try to start it, it barely turns over. Honey had the battery connected to another vehicle while he was under the vehicle turning something, I'd try turning the vehicle on and it sounds like it wants to start but then it sounds like it locks up.

Honey is frustrated and cant seem to figure out what is going on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are different things that could have happened:

I have owned 2 seperate Blazers, and know that after you buy them, the fuel pump goes bad. My first Blazer had the fuel pump go bad after about 2 months, the seconnd about 1 1/2. They cost $450-$520 to repair. $450 is probably the cheapest you're going to find.

Another possibility is the timing belt gone bad. Get a free inspection somewhere and they'll probably tell you the problem before you shell out any money.
