My dad just bought a 97 blazer w/t 4.3 vortec motor. It has gas in the oil. He was told by a mechanic friend that a hose under the plenum comes loose and causes this. Has anyone delt with this before? Anyone have a diagram, or link to, to remove the plenum?

 

Sounds like it needs a new central port injection unit which is under the plemun. Expensive part but not really a big job. I did mine myself. Good Luck.
