Default help with parts

i'm trying to install a new radio in my truck but am having trouble finding the right parts. I bought a harness and dash kit from walmart, didn't fit. I then bought one from e-bay, didn't even come close to fitting. There are no stereo shops around here so I need to find one online. Anyone know where to find a dash kit and harness that will fit. I am installing a single DIN head unit if that helps. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

well it might help if you say what year and model you are working on the dash kits sold today are easy to find but you need to buy for the right make model and year of your truck.

As long as you have the harness that came with the radio. Cut the factory connector off the wires from your truck and wire it manually.

Before you cut the wires, if you haven't already, you can go to crutchfield dot com and they specialize in intallation kits and wiring harness that make radio installation a snap. I have no affiliation with them but I have used their products in several of my radio intallations and they all have been trouble free.
