I have a 96 Chevy Blazer with a 4.3L V6 Vortec and I just did my first timing chain job on it. I got everything back together and it started, but I have some concerns.

My check engine light has always been on, but now after the job the check engine light will blink and then go steady again. The engine runs rough and I have no idea what to do.

Any advice on the subject would be greatly appreciated!

 

It's probably misfiring. Get it scanned and then post the trouble code (and freeze frame data if possible)?
