Leak between transmission and transfer case
Hello all. I am looking at purchasing a 1991 K1500 with the 4.3l. This truck only has 89,000 miles although I have not seen it. The owner states that it leaks transmission fluid from the "trans/transfer case bolt up." Is this a serious issue? Is it simply a gasket? Quick fix or hair puller? What exactly is the name of this gasket or whatever that I should be looking for? Thanks in advance!
