MOT test
It's that time, my Blazer goes in for it's yearly MOT test tomorrow first one since I bought the car last year, so will be holding my breath all day. I adjusted the parking brakes on Tuesday, wern't working at all. Adjusters were backed off completely. Lights all working, wipers and washers working, just hoping now.

No such luck, parking brakes need further adjustment (OK won't cost me anything apart from time), but apparently near side front wheel bearings are shot and are in a dangerous condition. (no sign of this while driving but when the wheel is in the air it really rocks) My parts place in the UK will have to order the hub assembly (Usually have them in stock but just sold the last one, just my luck) so the Blazer will be off the road for a couple of weeks.
O well knew when I bought it I might have problems with parts over here)

Back on the Road.
New front wheel hub fitted and parking brakes adjusted, and MOT certificate in my hand. Front wheel hub on these is so easy to fit. Will have to replace brake pads and disks but no desperate hurry. All parts obtained except parking brake shoes.
