Default need some help with wiring

hey yall i have a question
i have a 93 s10 it had a 4.3 vortech but i swapped it. now has a 350, but im having a wiring issue with the tail lights. the reverse light, brake light, and the parking light come on when you turn on the lights, plus when you have the key turned on the raido clock flashes and makes a strange noise. i was wondering if anyone could help me out and let me know whats going on and what i need to do to fix it. thanks

Sounds like you have some damaged and shorted wires leading to the rear of the truck. There should be a bundle of 4 or 5 wires that run from the dash area to the rear of the vehicle.
I’m not sure about the radio but, I think you may be missing power on the memory backup lead that is hot (12v) at all times possibly a fuse or disconnected wire.
