Needing some help with Vacuum.
Hello!
I have a 1983 Chevy S10 2.8 automatic
The previous owner removed the Vac pump and all of the vac hoses.
I'm trying to figure out how to run all the vac lines without all the extra stuff. Everyone I've talked to says that all of that doesn't work anyway and that theres a way to bypass it but I cant find any solid answers on it.
Right now it runs, but only with it floored. It sat for about a year so this may be a large part of it. Friend thinks the gas filter may be clogged and be causing my issues, but I want to make sure Ive got the vac right before I throw more parts at it.
So far I've filled the tank with fresh fuel (it was almost empty before), new spark plugs, seafoam in carb and gas tank, fresh oil change, fresh coolant, fresh transmission fluid.
Right now this is how my vacuum lines are run:
Port A - primary vacuum break
Port B - Vacuum advance and low vacuum switch
Port C - capped
Port D - capped
Port E - PCV valve
Port F - bowl vent to intake air cleaner
Port G - secondary vacuum break
Thank you for any help!
