noticeable chug going up hill
I recently bought a 95 chevy s10 for $850 dollars had 161xxxx miles when bought it just turned 1623012 miles replaced a thermastat battery and cable ends and nuts recently a tensioner pulley. It has had a slight hesitation from a stop accelerating and chugged slightly going up hill otherwise it idles fine starts fine runs great has no fluids dripping no fixed or check engine lights coming on. But when my roommate carefully and sliwly drove my truck home from where i parked her the night hey tensioner pulley went out and the belt was off it seems to have more noticble chug going up hill even when pushing the accelerator to the floor but once it gets up to the top and straight it ribs great. Im hoping it didn't cause any thing else to go wrong because its a damn good running truck and needs some tlc i just want to pinpoint the issue and cost without spending more than i paid for it.
This is my 95 chevy s10 sl 4.3 liter v6 automatic 2wd pick up. Has a new battery and cable bolts, new thermastat, new oil filter, new tensioner pulley. Has had a slight hesitation from a stop but idles fine and shifts fine starts fine. But after replacing the temsioner pulley it's had a more noticibke chug going up hill even when pressing the accelerator to the floor but will come out of it. Did trying TY get it home slowly and carefully driving it a short distance cause something to go wrong. No check engine light no codes but no one will do a code reading without a check engine light comjng on and IM trying to avoid that issue and pinpoint it to fix before it gets worse and causes the light to come on
