Please Help With 07-08 V6 TrailBlazer LT Questions And Add More Plus Or Negative Info.

I’m trying to decide (in 1-2 weeks) if a 07-08 V6 TrailBlazer LT can be the All-Purpose vehicle my V6 Explorer was? After 15 years of being very pleased in all areas it’s a challenge to shop for a replacement. The V6 TrailBlazer is my 1<SUP>st</SUP> choice, V6 Jeep Grand Cherokee 2nd and V6 Explorer XLX 3rd (if all have a tow package/gears/overdrive and 2" receiver ). Plus, I know w/n be as active the next 15 yrs but hopefully reasonably. My Questions and Please add your additional Negative or Positive Info and what I missed:

Does Blazer Tow or Tow Package listed, and Factory 2" receiver dictate towing gears vs Hwy gears?
Will the Blazer run-out on the Hwy in overdrive w/o lugging gears labor and noise?
Will the Blazer run-out in-town with pep w/o a dull in-line 6 vs a mellow V6 sound?
Does Blazer have plenty Towing Power for ½ cord of green oak (2500 lbs) in 4 X 7 Trailer 3’ high?
Will tow ball mount on bumper with nut in or under receiver (drilled in needed)?
Will cargo area and suspension handle 1000 lbs. (ten 100 pound green oak logs with or w/o trailer?
Average MPG in-town/hwy?

Your additional personal experience comments and "what I missed" vs what is listed PLEASE!
