Default Seat compatability???????

What up all. I'm new to the chevy world due to my little brother purchasing a 1998 s-10 2.2 longbed. We picked it up yesterday and I've driven it more than he has (he he he). Anyhow here is my question. The seats were abused by the almighty cancersticks and we stumbled upon some sweet looking replacements out of a 2003 extended cab ZR2 model. His 98 is a manual and the ZR2 is, sorry, WAS an automatic that we found in a near by chevy bone yard. The seats in his LS are of the design 60-40 bench seats while the ZR2's are buckets with a seperate middle consoul. I am supremely confident that I can fabricate the middle consoul molding to fit the manual characteristics of the 98 but I am not clear if the bolt points of the two different cabs are the same. My little bro really liked the look of the ZR2 buckets and I am hoping to be able to surprise him by swaping them into his new, and first by the way, vehicle. If anybody has any feedback on whether or not the new digs will work I would greatly appreciate any type of feedback what so ever.

Thanks
