Default TICKING NOISE, PLEASE HELP!

I have a 96 4X4 Blazer 4.3 V6 I just started to notice that my motor is ticking everytime its at higher RPM, it ticks faster at high RPM, when it's in park it ticks slowly. whats the problem? I am getting the oil changed today after school, could that be the problem? please help. thanks in advance.

Mine ticks too only at idle, like a solid... tick tick tick tick tick...but I think its just the A/C Compressor. You may want to check on your belt tiensioner as well.

well i assume you read my post on BF, bottom end of my motor is shot, bearings are messed up, rods are cracked, crank is screwd, i need a new motor or rebuild it.
