Default Timing chain cover is giving me trouble

I am replacing timing chain on mu 96 2.2 manual trans, and the cover is not seating. I try to loosen or remove the fan clutch nose, which is in the way, but seems grabbed by hidden bolts. How to put the cover back on?

If it came off, and your cover is the same then it must be able to be reinstall. I checked out Cloyes timing chains, the best T-C's in the world, but they don't make one for the S-10. Perhaps something else is interfering with your installation?
