transmission interchangability
hey~
I have a 2000 S10 V6 2wd automatic, and need to replace the transmission. Going by recyclers interchange and ebay listings, it seems I need one from a 1998-2000 donor vehicle. I'm told, and I find craigslist ads that I can get tranny from donor 1997 to 2005. I found a wrecked 2001 cheap and not sure I should get it. Could get computer too if that would be needed.
Someone know for sure?
