I just purchased a 33 Chevy Street rod that was built in the early nineties. I have no documentation on the build but, it appears parts may have come from an S10. The turbo 400 has an unfamiliar housing that the speedometer cable is attached to. It is not the typical gear housing I am accustomed to seeing. My VDO speedometer needle is sweeping erratically, so I want to have a look at the gears. Does anyone know what this is? I am guessing I can replace it with a new gear housing.
