Is there anyone here with experience of UK spec Blazers. It seems there are differences with the passlock and keyless entry systems. It seems that most of the Blazers over here are 1999 models (From VIN code) despite being registered in 2000 or 2001.

1. The remote fob seems to switch off the security system, so that has to be used before using the key to start the engine, dosen't seem to have the signal system in the ignition switch. Can anybody confirm this?

2. I have tried using the programing instructions for a second remote (Same number on remote) that I have found on the forum, with no luck. Have seen mention of a code that can be entered via the rear fog ight switch?

Hope somebody can help because if my remote dies I won't be able to start it.
