I have a 1988 S10 4x4 that I have lowered and want to upgrade the engine but still wanting to remain with decent fuel economy. I read about installing a chip with current 2.8' however, just wondering what are good options to boost this 5 speed. Are the Colorado 5 cylinder engines an option with some motor mount modifications that will still hookup to the original 5 speed or can I swap entire power train with some mods?
