Winding noise 2001 chevy blazer

I ran diagnostic and code 410 secoundary air injection malfunction came up. The winding noise is when truck is in park when I
accelerate in park and drive it looks like it has something to do with air pump, is that simple to fix. If any Ideas please list I
could use any help.

If it only does it in drive then it is probally your tranny. No winding sound in park when you rev the engine? I would check your trans fluid first as it is probally low. If it's never been changed then that should be done along with the filter. Post back with your results.

I have done some research and it looks like its my air pump, which is $425
is it something I can put off for a couple weeks and still drive my truck without making something worse.
