Wipers and brake lights
I brought up the multifunction switch a couple of days ago. I find it hard to believe no one else has experienced this problem with one of these vehicles. The reason I think it's a problem in the multifunction (turnsignal) switch is that when the brake lights are stuck on, I have an issue with the wipers working properly. It doesn't happen with the wipers every time because I get very little rain in Denver and don't use the wipers much. I only notice the wiper involvement when I need the wipers on a warm day.
Anyhow, I'm wondering if anyone has another approach to this problem. I've read in other S-10/15 sites that people have a problem with the turnsignal switch and wonder if some of you guys have come across a way to deal with it. This is maddening because every once in awhile I forget to check for stuck brake lights and then I have a dead battery. I did take the brake light switch out and took it apart and couldn't find anything wrong with it. Maybe I wasn't thorough enough, but I think I was.
