I have an 04 S10 Blazer with a 4.3 vortec . I need to replace the trans. It has the old style trans with screw in coolant lines and a removable dust cover on bottom of bell housing. I have a newer style 4l60 E I want to use, shifter linkage is different and so are coolant hookups. Is it possible to retro fit it and make it work ?
