Default 1970 El Camino

This is my long lasting dream car. Ever since I bought my first American car I have lusted over this model.

My first was 1972 El Camino. My second was 1971 El Camino. So, my third is... well I had to wait for long time before I got money and everything right that I could buy 1970 El Camino. And I had to buy it from the States, Kansas to be precise. We have a lot of American car culture in here, but some models are hard to find, even in here. We got plenty of 1972-> El Caminos, but not that much earlier ones.

It has now little over 45k miles on it and it's waiting for spring, so that we can roll many thousands miles on it again. I've had it for two and half years, in which I have spend 12k miles in two summers. And last year I had to put it on hibernation too early since starter broke up and I hadn't time and money to fix it right away. Now I have brand new shipped from a fellow American car hobbiest.

I plan to flood your picture threads with my pictures. This bad?

Cheers,
Miikka

Well my yearly inspection was three weeks late and didn't go well. Four fix-it recommedation(only three allowed) and PS need fixing. I have never changed PS pump before(as a whole with a reservoir yes) and it was quite exciting to do that. And now we have a working PS and by accident working gas gauge!
