Thanks man. If you do it, you need to measure to the point where you have the greatest depth and cut your hole there. Then dynomat (or black mastic tape, same thing) around the hole on the back side of the door panel to cut down the vibration because it isn't mounted to a metal surface.
Looks good. They are indeed really good speakers for the money.
I have 12 speakers in all. Two of them are subs, two are tweeters, two are mono-axial door subs, the remaining 6 are quad-axial.
I may eventually end up with 6x9 tri-axials with a 200w add-on amp in the rear gate one day and put the quads I just put in in the Camaro. I don't know yet, but I'm enjoying these as of now.
