ooooh... found me a 160° stat too A cooler engine runs better! I'm also going to seize the time to change out my squeally serp belt with a new one.

Im gonna use my pewter duplicolor spray paint and stencil Vortec into the condenser coil too, so you'll be able to see it behind the grille.

Now when I get back from school I hope Dad is home with the work van because I don't have a 22mm wrench or an adjustable big enough to get the trans cooler lines out. I guess I also better grab an oil strainer or two so I can recycle the liquid gold, I mean, dexcool & Royal Purple Super Coolant Additive I drained out.

I got the radiator put in and a 170° thermostat and a brand new serpentine belt. Took it for a drive and no leaks, no squeals, and the temp stayed right at 170°! I'm very happy right now.

Used the stencil I made to paint both sides of the radiator to paint the condenser as well.

what did you do paint it all black and then paint the vortec part again? Did you get it from radiatorclassic or whatever it is on ebay. that is who i got mine from I could get an all aluminum one on there for the price of a stock one from a local parts store.

Some place out of SC. "FilterWarehouse" I think it was.

I didn't paint it all black... Thats the A/C condenser. The raditor is behind it. You can see vortec if you look through the fan at the back of the radiator.
