Default 88 K5 Blazer - Radiator Replacement

Hi - My radiator has several "pin hole" leaks and needs to be replaced. It seems pretty straightforward and is a project I want to do on my own, but I would love to hear suggestions or things to check before tearing it apart. Is it as simple as draining the fluid, removing hoses, removing/replacing radiator, re-attaching hoses (replacing hoses that are worn) and filling it back up - any major steps or checks I am missing?

Thanks in advance!
Dave

thanks - just wanted to confirm that i wouldn't have to mess with any fan clutch, water pump, etc. I will be inspecting the water pump while I am in there and replacing if necessary...might just go ahead a replace anyway along with belts, but not sure - just depends how inspired I am.

Thanks again!
