Default Radiator replacement

Hi I currently own a 2011 malibu ls that is in need of a new radiator. I have an exact replacement for the car. I am hoping to learn how to install it myself however I am having a very difficult time finding an exact tutorial for my car. Does anyone have any experience with this? Any help would be very appreciated thanks in advance for any help.

not sure on the engine you have so there may be some slight differences

remove the upper rad braces
support the condenser
remove the cooling fan
remove the trans cooler lines
drain the coolant
remove the rad hoses
remove the condenser bolts
separate the condenser and rad
remove the rad,

you may have to take some splash shields off as i'm pretty sure it comes out the bottom iirc

hanyes manual might be handy as this might be a pita if your new to this.

So this question remains - why do you need a new radiator after 5 years? Is yours damaged?
