I highly doubt that they will snap, since its an HD i'm guessing their some beefy bastards. I would still look into the keys, their pretty cheap. So since your thinking about a dana 60 for the front do you plan on converting it to 4wd?

Sure do. It's something I've always wanted to do for one, and second, converting it, will be cheaper then if I had bought a 4wd. I got a GREAT deal on this truck, I bought it 3 days before the first bailout on a redtag event. Plus military discount.
Also, it'll be built the way I want it done. plan is, get the 60 under the truck, get it drivable, then worry bout the driveline later.
Something I decided on recently, I'm going to put the t-case shifter set-up from a 89 4x4 Chevy, sort of a tribute to my first truck.

Well, the rotts died, my .45 was made in 1892 so i don't shoot it much. And I live in a freaking Apartment, I keep the tools in my TSC box on the truck.... just 2 more months in this place....
