found 1/4 hose stuck into fuel tank filler hose

Saw this hose dragging on the ground when loading car on car trailer???

 

Yeah, locking gas caps are only really good if someone doesn't like you, or is just and tries to pour something nasty like brake fluid or coolant down the hose into the tank. A couple of people in my town, the thieves just knocked a hole in the gas tank to steal gas. Sure, it can be patched, but its a PITA.

 

Wow that's crazy and dangerous looks like a fuse waiting to be lit lol

 

Its not even the loss of gasoline that sucks, but the damage is way more annoying, also heard story's about drilling a hole in gas tank which is worse.
Over here you can get gas without paying upfront for it so if this happens is always just people driving away without paying at the gas station.
