I want to get a third spare key for my sister in case she needs to drive it. I want to know how much usually the spare key cost and how long does it take to order one from the dealership.

 

depends on what you have ,i was able to get a spare key cut ar the hardware store cost about 5.00 . or check with the dealer on a key only or with the door entry fob .

 

Depends on what year and car/truck you have. Some have a security chip in the key that is necessary to start the engine. Some don't have this chip and any key shop can make them. The security key is available at the dealership and should be in stock. But they are expensive.
